the opening session of the Kuala Lumpur Branch.
SUT is a multidisciplinary
learned Society bringing together individuals and organisations from
more than 40 countries that have a common interest in underwater
technology, ocean science and offshore engineering. The SUT was
founded in 1966 and includes engineers, scientists, other
professionals and students.
The SUT has established
branches in Aberdeen, Houston, Rio de Janeiro, Perth and Melbourne.
In recognition of the increased subsea activity in the South East
Asian region, a local committee was formed on 21 April with the view
to establishing a permanent presence of the SUT in Kuala Lumpur. The
branch welcomed individuals to enjoy lively presentations from the
guest speakers on subsea developments within the KL region.
