VenueThe OSIG conference will be held at the Royal Geographical Society's (RGS) headquarters, which overlooks Hyde Park and Kensington Gardens. The main part of the conference will take place in its spacious Ondaatje Theatre, with catering and exhibition provided in the adjacent Hall, Map Room and Education Centre. RGS is well known for holding a wide variety of high profile conferences. As well, the RGS itself is a learned society and professional body which has aimed to advance geotechnical science and its practitioners since it was founded in 1830, making it a highly suitable venue for the SUT's OSIG series.
